We actively encourage staff to undertake further study to ensure they have the skills and knowledge necessary to undertake a responsible role working with pupils with complex learning, emotional and medical needs.
Special educational needs is a vast area of research and we have a number of staff undertaking degrees in teaching and learning as well as Post Graduate and Masters degrees.
Working with universities to develop our own understanding and contribute to research and development is crucial if we are to understand the evolving nature of SEN conditions and how to best support our youngsters.
